Was Paul A at Newby's a mag?
This is a great place for refreshing drinks and live music. I would have given it a 5-star rating, but the rowdy crowd sitting next to the stage was so loud that they overshadowed the band, even though the musicians had microphones and amplifiers. It's surprising how some people can be so inconsiderately loud. View all feedback.

This has to have been the worst service of my life. They got my drink order wrong twice. Then tried to charge me for the drinks they messed up on top of the replacements. When I pointed this out I got cursed out and kicked out of the bar. Thank God I didn’t have to pay the tab or it would’ve really messed up my night. Drinks are so cheap strong!
Great food and service
First time visiting and I loved the atmosphere. The live band was great and our waitress Elana was awesome. The wings were a 10 out of 10. This will definitely be one of my go to spots on the Highland Strip. Update: Third time here. Came to treat myself and the bartender, he was awesome, friendly and attentive. I got my usual wings and they did NOT disappoint. The drinks were UH-mazing! I will definitely return here!
Coolest bar in memphis
I just want to say that the bartender who took my order was cool and good for business. Luckily I came in when the place wasn't busy. The reason I give this review two stars is mainly because of the food. When I took a bite of the first mozzarella sticks I was just disappointed. The cheese wasn't gooey enough, and I know I could have gone to the freezer section of the store get some mozzarella sticks and make it better than they did, also the Mariana sauce that came with the mozzarella sticks wa … – show
