Marvin's Hot Kitchen Deli - Memphis

I stop once a week after working nights at FedEx. The food is alway tasty. If you had to do anyting the platters could be a little larger.

Marvin’s was one of my favorite spots to eat. But, as of today I’m unsure as to if I will eat here again. The food was horrible! The meatloaf was dry and based with ketchup instead of paste. The cornbread was dry and that use to be my favorite thing from them. The candy yam taste like something out the can. I bet they changed cooks because it wasn’t like this at all. I was in love with the food but they have done something different! Either they getting cheap with the ingredients using can food) or the cooks don’t care anymore. Whatever it is it need to go back to the way they were because this new way is not it.

Was looking for a place that wasn’t fast food. Has semi parking in the rear food was on point the yams were some of the best I’ve ever had. Got the bbq ribs done to perfection.

This man go up on his food seems like daily he worked for Gary's for years but he nothing like Gary's he overcharged for all his food and get on his employees if he thinks it's too much food on the plates.People need to go to Gary's if you want your money worth and the food is better there Also Marvin is so cheap that the parking lot is so damaged that you can mess up your front end on your car with all those big holes all over the lot.He charging 16.99 for a basic plate and always says everything is going up as an excuse to overcharged you.Parking: Terrible parking lot
