Was Sabin Lahey at Mardi Gras Memphis a mag?
We enjoyed three items from the menu...the jambalaya...the sausage po boy and the red beans and sausage. The jambalaya was bar none the best I've ever had. Staff was super nice. Leftovers for breakfast...even better. Highly recommend. View all feedback.

This place is like a hidden jewel! They serve the best Cajun food outside of Louisiana; their jambalaya is the best I’ve had! You must try this place!!

Being from New Orleans, it was certainly a pleasure eat here today. I ordered Red Beans, and Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. It was unbelievable and possibly the best I've ever had. They both had all the right spices and genuine flavor. I also loved the atmosphere. Felt like home! I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Last night we had the Shrimp and Grits and the Catfish Etouffee, caramel cake and German chocolate cake for dessert. All were very delicious, especially the pickled crunchiness of the peppers in the Shrimp and Grits! The food tasted so authentic to what we have eaten many times in New Orleans! We also had a very attentive server. We will definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work

The restaurant received high praise for its authentic Cajun cuisine, with multiple customers raving about their delicious meals. Dishes like jambalaya, red beans and sausage, shrimp and grits, and catfish etouffee were all highlighted for their excellent flavor and quality. The atmosphere was also highly rated, with guests feeling transported to New Orleans. The attentive staff, including the friendly owner, Ms. Penny, added to the welcoming ambiance. Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant proved to be a hidden gem with great service, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Overall, visitors were impressed by the food, hospitality, and overall experience, vowing to return for more tasty Cajun delights.

Preface: I'm from Louisiana so I have a different requirement for cajun restaurants that I go to.

What more can I say? Mardi Gras is the real deal! Last week I ate @ a Cajun restaurant with a past reputation that paled in comparison.
