Reviews - Chipotle Mexican Grill
Reviews summary
At this Chipotle location, customer experiences vary dramatically. While some patrons praise the staff's friendliness and efficient service, others express disappointment over cleanliness and food quality. Issues raised include unkempt dining areas, poor organization, and a lack of menu items, which detracts from the dining experience. The inconsistency in food preparation—such as inadequate portion sizes—combined with complaints about staff behavior, further frustrates customers. Despite the appealing menu and loyal following, the management must address these operational shortcomings to meet the expectations of devoted fans and casual diners alike. With improvements, this outlet could live up to Chipotle’s reputation for quality.

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant. The staff is consistently wonderful, and the food is delicious. You also get great value for your money! Typically, I order the sofritas (spicy soy protein) as a bowl, which I can often save for the next day.
This is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. They never have fajita vegetables and they often leave items out when I order through the app. I have been here 5 times on different days and they never had fajita vegetables. I went multiple times thinking they would improve, but it seems the management team does not order enough food. This last and final time I ordered from there, they did not include my guacamole and the rice was undercooked. I’ll never come here again.
This has to be the most poorly managed Chipotle in the country. No matter how short the line, it always takes forever to order your food and pay. There is always a bottleneck, either ordering or at the cashier. The whole digital orders segment is a total disaster. Always a zoo of people crowded around just past the cashier, in front of all the shelves that they no longer put the food on (for what reason I have no idea). The food is never ready on time if you order on the app, which I have sworn off after too many disappointments. If there is a saving grace it 's that the food usually ends up tasting decent despite themselves. They need a new manager, firstly, as well as employees with some drive to work hard and, more importantly, quickly.
You can always count on Chipotle for fresh ingredients and quick service. However, the Poplar location stood out for being somewhat neglected, and it seemed like the manager might be taking it easy. I wouldn't want to take anyone else there because the lack of cleanliness and quality was clearly not up to par.

This restaurant is in need of improvement. The establishment was unclean, with a sticky drink station. The staff didn’t seem to pay attention when taking orders; they seemed more focused on rushing through them than ensuring accuracy. I even heard some negative comments from the employees. Overall, my experience was disappointing. The rice was undercooked and lacked flavor.
I am very disappointed with this location. My family are devoted Chipotle fans, but this place does not meet our expectations at all. The staff was incredibly rude, and the bathrooms were absolutely filthy (I have a picture showing the mold under the sink in the women's restroom). The toppings counter was a mess, with food scattered everywhere, and the drink station was sticky and unclean. The trash cans were overflowing, there were no forks available, and the bathroom ran out of toilet paper. When I poured a cup of sweet tea, I noticed strange black particles floating in it. I tried again, and the same issue occurred. It’s probably the same black substance found under the sink in the restroom. The health department really needs to step in because this situation is unacceptable and could lead to someone getting sick.
Blandest Chipotle i had in my life. The chicken barely had flavor. The food line was messy, esp. at the end where the cold toppings are. The sour cream had a bunch of stuff in it. (The customer before me had to ask for them to change lettuce bc ?it looked nasty?, they did. The customer service wasn?t the best but not the worse. But this is the First chipotle i went to where instead of opening a fresh container of sour cream, their solution was for me to eat my food without any. I had to tell a third employee i was allergic something that another worker said may be in the sour cream for them to give me some from the to go station. Pros: dining room was clean, line moved at a good pace.
The crowd was outrageous but the workers kept it moving. They were great at communicating line placement with pickup orders!! Shout out to trinity and tenisha!! They didn?t get frustrated and we?re giving great customer service! Now, pickup orders can be prepared a little better. Our bowls were skimpy (didn?t even measure out to 1.5 cups) and the burritos were the size of the tacos and they forgot our chips. Improvement needed there! I gave 4 stars because of the customer service.
Online order submitted at 530pm for a 6pm pickup. Arrive at 555pm and was told it would be another 30-45 min before the food was ready. I started noticing people with 630pm pickup times getting there food and when I asked I was told ?yours is coming, you got here late so it?s your fault?. The restaurant was a disaster as a whole, dirty floors, dirty kitchen, food everywhere. The drink machine was sticky and trash overflowing. The line for online and in store dining was to the entrance door. When my order was finally completed I was then told they were out of chips. Instead of letting me know ahead of time they pointed at a 1800 number on the wall and told me to call them for complaints. Overall it was a very bad experience. Customers in line were leaving left and right and being told the same thing. I?m very disappointed in chipotle at this location.
