I do not normally eat this type of food. But this was one of the only restaurants called Checkers (first time going) open and by our stay location at the late hr of 10 pm.Hungry. ??It was delicious. Small portion, delicious, quick, kind service. View all feedback.
What Arianna Ratke doesn't like about Checkers:
You can't understand anything at the speakers and we have no idea if the lady inside got out order right. She ignored us when we asked her to repeat what she had said. Now we are stuck in the extremely slow drive-through. View all feedback.
My order was wrong. Ck sandwich asked for no mayo or onions they left everything off. Burger asked no mayo or ketchup and it was all over the burger and we did not get our funnel cake fries. We are traveling and we're trying something different and did not get what I paid for.
Checkers undeniably boasts some of the finest fast-food fries in the culinary landscape. During my visit, these fries stood out as a culinary masterpiece—super hot, incredibly fresh, and a cut above the rest. I'd choose Checkers over other establishments primarily for this stellar fries experience. Despite the fries stealing the spotlight, my overall encounter had its nuances. The warmth of all the food, except the fries, was noteworthy. The spicy chicken sandwich, while flavorful, could use an extra kick of spice. Unfortunately, the burgers fell short, being somewhat dry, and a specific request for no ketchup was overlooked, appearing on all the burgers. On the beverage front, the classic blue raspberry slushie left a mixed impression. While acceptable for what it was, there's room for improvement—perhaps less intense sweetness for a more balanced flavor profile. Customer service, a common denominator in fast-food experiences, seemed to adhere to the standard script. Communication skills, or the lack thereof, might be a widespread issue in Memphis fast-food establishments. The exterior of the restaurant was not impeccable, with a few items scattered on the ground, but not to an alarming extent. Despite these observations, I find myself inclined to give Checkers another chance. The potential for positive changes in both the restaurant ambiance and overall experience encourages a revisit. In conclusion, while the experience had its ups and downs, I would recommend giving Checkers a try, especially if it's just for the exceptional fries.
Ordered through door dash yesterday, made me incredibly sick all night. Severe food poisoning
Terrible I came through for a second time just to pick up a door dash order manager told me to get out his line ! So rude and unprofessional I don’t understand what the problem is
Straight trash fries taste like they haven't changed the cooking oil in months. The burger was sloppy
