The outdoor seating area is lovely and perfect for enjoying the nice weather and people-watching. The egg scrambles were delicious and generously portioned.

However, when we arrived at the restau... read more My partner and I visited Memphis last weekend and had made a reservation for breakfast at a restaurant through OpenTable. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, we discovered that it was closed, and it seemed that we were not the only ones who had made reservations through OpenTable. We were disappointed that we couldn't enjoy the breakfast we had been looking forward to at this restaurant, Tugs. We hope that the management at Eclectic will improve their communication with third-party apps and systems to prevent this inconvenience for future customers. While we may never know if it is a great spot to eat, we were left feeling frustrated by this experience.

The restaurant opens at 9:00 and we arrived shortly after opening, being the second customers there. Our drink order was taken promptly and our food order was placed when the drinks arrived. However, 30 minutes after our arrival, we were informed that they were out of brioche French toast, which was one of our orders. They offered to substitute regular French toast instead. Our food eventually arrived 45 minutes after we were seated, after other tables seated after us were served. Most of the food was lukewarm, one meal was incorrect, and one dish was missing the typical French toast. Water and maple syrup refills were infrequent. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The bisc... read more This restaurant is an absolute no. We bought an omelet with biscuits, the hashbrowns and the French toast. Everything we received was lukewarm at best. The biscuits were cold, the hashbrowns were overdone and the vegetables inside it were hardly cooked and flavorless. Not sure if this is a COVID precaution but all plates were styrofoam with wooden flimsy silverware. I have never written an online review but this places food was not appetizing in the least.

The beverage order was taken quickly and our food order was placed upon arrival of the drinks. 30 minutes after we arrived, we were told that they were from the French toast who was one of our orders. They offered to replace French toast. 15 minutes later (45 minutes after sitting) our food came to other tables that sit after us. Most foods were best lukewarm, a meal was not right at all and a meal was missing from the normal French toast. Water and maple syrup refills were only a few to far between. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience and I cannot recommend this restaurant.
