Bardog Tavern - Memphis

Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name and they?re always glad you came! I went in for a quick bit on Christmas Eve and the bartender knew everyone. The food is amazing! This could easily be a tourist trap but it?s not. Great neighborhood bar!

I read a review online about a customer who said this place had the best hot dogs in Memphis and awesome fries, so I popped in. They were not exaggerating. I got the dog of the day, which was pretty simple, ketchup, mustard, onions, tomatoes. Didn?t think it?d be the size of two hot dogs!! And the fries were some of the best I?ve had like a crunchier, higher end version of McDonald?s fries, and I mean that as a compliment. We all know how addictive McDonalds friescan be! My one qualm is there is a required 20% gratuity calculated into the bill, which normally I wouldn?t mind, but I felt like my waitress used it as an excuse to provide lazy service. She walked by me several times, wasn?t toofriendly, and didn?t even introduce herself so it was hard to get her attention. Overall, check this place out!

Downtown bar for dive bar eats and drinks! We had chicken tenders and meatballs appetizers for a late lunch.

They can do a favor and try this place. the staff was very friendly and attentive. they bring their starvings are great.
