Feedback
Nestled in a charming renovated house, this restaurant offers a blend of rustic decor and vibrant atmosphere. Guests have praised the bold cocktails and delightful dishes, particularly the pretzels and fried shrimp, while others expressed disappointment with inconsistent food quality and service. Some staff appeared scripted or inattentive, leading to mixed feelings about dining experiences. Despite these setbacks, the ambiance remains inviting, attracting patrons seeking late-night options or brunch delights. With reasonable prices and a cozy feel, this establishment possesses the potential for greatness, making it worth a visit to discover its evolving culinary offerings.
I would rate this restaurant 4.5 stars, as the downsides aren't significant enough to warrant a full star deduction. Initially, the service was quite slow, taking about 5-10 minutes to receive anything other than water. However, after that, the service improved significantly. Our server seemed new, but she was hardworking and did a great job. The food was good—not outstanding, but definitely worth the visit. Some highlights from their brunch menu include pancakes, quiche, pimento cheese fries, and bread pudding. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is charming. I’m interested in returning during the warmer months to try their outdoor seating. Overall, it's a place worth visiting.
The menu is somewhat limited, but the food was excellent. The outdoor seating fills up quickly.

Second Line's food is actually really good! It is based on New Orlean's cuisine. The food is very flavorful and tasty. My friend had the Redfish Crawfish Pontchartrain, and she loved it! I had the Chubby Vegetarian Po Boy, which comes withmushrooms in a red wine sauce. Of course, there was a lot of bread like on all Po' Boys, but the mushrooms tasted amazing! Ialso had the red beans rice! This dish was soooo good! For dessert, I had the Cookie Trio. It included a snickerdoodle cookiewith honey, a chocolate brownie with nutella, and maybe a sugar cookie with caramel, I believe. It was soo good! My parentsstated that they enjoyed the bread pudding! And, they love bread pudding! Please note, they rotate their desserts! So justbecause it's there one week, doesn't mean it will be there the next week unless it's their bread pudding or brownie. Fordrinks, I did not care for my original order, and I had it remade. I still did not care for it. I can't even remember the nameof it. My friend did enjoy her drink, which I think was a Strawberry Margarita. Eventually, I ordered a French 75 with brandy, and it was nice! Now, though the food was really good, what actually made my experience was the management's customer service. After we did not have a pleasant experience with our server, the manager stepped in and rectified the entire situation. Becauseof the manager's concern and care, I came back the very next weekend with my friends! God bless the manager! I think his name isMichael or Chris! Anywho, go visit! Hopefully, you won't be disappointed!
Went for lunch. Overall everything was good but not very memorable. The fried chicken liver appetizer was very good, but I wasn't wild about the pepper jelly on them. Cheese grits were great. Red beans and rice was OK. The BBQ shrimp were OK but toosalty. Desserts were great, especially the chocolate one.
