I stumbled upon this hidden gem tucked away behind a business park. The interior is small, so I recommend getting your order to go. They offer a delicious selection of pastries, muffins, and cookies. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they still had a variety of options available when I went to pick up the cake I had ordered. The cake was exceptional and the muffins were also quite good. What Michael H doesn't like about Danish Pastry House:
The coffee's good and the staff is very friendly but the pastries are all way too cloyingly sweet. Also what they call a lox bagel is pretty sad. Cut the amount of added sugar the recipes by like half, get in some decent bagels, and we'll talk. View all feedback.
Their cakes to order are awesome. Pastries/muffins … average. Note that images shown by GOOGLE search for Watertown location are misleading! The store w tables and chairs is ONLY for their place in Medford. Their bakery is in Watertown w very small selection and mostly for order pickup.
We ordered the Lemon Luscious cake which was wonderful! Very fresh and flavorful, yet light. The decorations with marzipan were a nice touch. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

Had a very disappointing visit on a rainy Friday morning. The pictures mislead me to believe this was a cafe. The Watertown location is a warehouse/industrial bakery. The pictures of the cafe are for the Medford location. My advice to the owners: you need to explain on your website the status of each location and what kind of service is available. You also need to remove pictures of the other location from the Watertown Google entry. Your misleading representation caused me a significant inconvenience and disappointment. I went down the street to uncommon grounds and thankfully was able to save my breakfast plans with my out of town visitors. Hopefully I make it out to Medford to try your goods. At that point I might be able to update my review more positively. There wasn't anyone on the premise when we entered, so even if we had wanted to pick up some bread, we would've been unable.
Ordered a princess torte for my partner’s birthday; he loved it! It was beautifully made he said it was authentic to the prinsesstårtes he’s had from his Swedish father. We will definitely purchase a cake here again!
