I ca... read more I booked a table for four a few weeks ago for Saturday, April 13th, 2024. By chance, a friend told me on the morning of April 13th that Vivaldi was closed. I called immediately, but only got an answering machine. I canceled as a precaution and quickly found a seat at another restaurant. We were met with a locked door. The booking portal asked us on Friday if we could reconfirm the reservation, and on Monday if we enjoyed the meal and would like to leave a review. I did. Impossible to customers!

A timely cancellation would have been nice :

The service was unfriendly, vegetarian dishes were incorrectly labeled on the menu, and the restaurant closed unexpectedly. For example, we had a reservation for a large group, arrived at the restaurant, and there was just a note in the window saying it was closed. No one had told us. Since this wasn't the first time we had a reservation that didn't work out, and the food and ambiance don't make up for the unfortunately often unfriendly service, we won't be going there again.

Service unfriendly, vegetarian dishes labeled incorrectly on the menu, restaurant closed out of order. For example, we had a reservation for a larger group, arrived at the restaurant and there was only a note in the window saying it was closed. Nobody had told us. Since it wasn't the first time that the reservation didn't work out and the food and ambience don't make up for the unfortunately often unfriendly service, we won't go there again.
