We went here after a visit to Melk Abbey. The first place we tried was more touristy and was rude to us, so we came here; and we were glad we did! The food, service and atmosphere were all perfect. if we are ever in Melk again, I would return.
Had a lovely hour relaxing on street side tables with a pot of olives and chilled white wine. The most expensive red wine by glass was rich and velvety with a soft smooth palate. My white was a fruity number but a bit sharp for...my tastes. Service was friendly and polite and price reasonable. Local wines are mainly featured as well as a few international bottles and English menu if needed. A perfect place to wind down the day.
