We ordered Szechwan Chicken and the Crispy Duck with Special Fried Rice. We were given a small bowl of steamed rice we ordered a 0.5l glass of Radler to share. Everything was fresh, beautiful and so tasty! Can thoroughly recommend both those dishes. Very well priced too €20 for 2!

Loved the broccoli dish (seems so hard to get fresh green vegetables in German/Austrian restaurants) our Crispy Duck with Fried Rice was delicious. Doesn’t look much from the outside and on our first night in Melk decided not to eat here based on its look. Luckily we read the reviews here and gave it a go on our second night. Very pleased we did.

We hankered after Chinese food... read more This restaurant is tucked away at one end of the town..but it is obvious if you are on your way to the river boats on the Danube. We hankered after Chinese food after 10 days of schnitzel and sausages, and were pleasantly surprised by what was offered in Wok In. The couple who run the restaurant is very friendly .They enjoyed conversing with us once they found out we could understand Mandarin..and shared with us the extent they had to do to get the authenticity in their cooking...like getting Thai rice, imported broccoli, etc. We had fried beef with broccoli, fried rice with shrimps..they were the real deal.... definitely 2 thumbs up.

They we... read more While we would have preferred a traditional Austrian meal, there was nothing open except the local Chinese place. Well we were very happy with our food! They were quick to serve as we were in a bit of a hurry, and the food was exceptional. I tried something new a chicken liver stir fry with steamed rice. It was delicious! Very clean and pleasant surroundings.
