Staff is nice but service is a bit slow.

My husband and I have had the best meal in Portugal even better than il covo and the seaside restaurant over in calcihas in Lisbon- miracastro restaurant in Cas... read more My husband and I have had the best meal in Portugal even better than il covo and the seaside restaurant over in calcihas in Lisbon- miracastro restaurant in Castro Laboreiro is absolutely amazing but we can only speak for ourselves as the Bacalhau com Broua is the best meal we’ve had in Portugal and the bread is gorgeous which you must use to mop up the gorgeous fish infused olive oil which I adored mopping up. Such generous portions and kindly supplying us with more bread, this was definitely our best meal in the 5 days we have spent so far in Portugal. A real treat and such a lovely surprise in such an off the beaten track area. A must if you are so fortunate to come up in this area if Portugal!!
