One of the best places for sea food within the beautiful fine village of san foca. Been there seven times within ten days and was always delicious and fine puglia sea food cuisine. Very friendly staff and owners!

We had a nice dinner with great seafood and a good setting. Good service. A bit pricey. I would recommend the gamberoni and the taglia di manzo.

This casual restaurant offers good local quality products. The price and service was also very good, which makes it worthwhile to have lunch or diner over there. The rooms of the hotel however, are rather basic equipped but we haven't seen the (low? prices.

Table location very poor in the middle of walk in and out certainly not good to enjoy a quiet dinner or relax with friends Food ingredients quality ok but not well cooked and presented in a very poor way too Service not good not bad certainly not impressive Price reasonable but all depends what the customer wants May be worth to try it in a different period of the year with a more quiet environment

San Foca is still a sleepy village in April not many restaurants are open outside weekends. The sun was shining and outside the breeze it was a warm 22C. The sea breeze is pleasant for walking but we found it more comfortable to chose a table inside. The welcome for a Friday lunch La Lanterna could not have been warmer. It is set a little back of the main street behind a bright blue building and opposite to a mini supermarket. We were served freshly baked rolls one with tomato and the other with herbs. Then as we obviously enjoyed the rolls we were given a freshly baked brown bread with excellent olive oil for dipping. The starter of mussels au gratin was very fresh a generous portion. The risotto of lemon with prawns was perfect delicately flavoured within thin fresh lemon zest, fresh peeped prawns and coriander. This was one of the very best I have ever tasted. The five roses rosata wine was perfect with it. I was then served complimentary refreshing lemon sorbet as smooth as silk. What a find ! Thank you to our hotel Hilton Acaya for recommending La Lanterna for checking they would be open for us.
