Was Anonym at VB Rolls a mag?
There must be lots of similar Vietnamese cafes which sell the traditional Vietnamese bahn mi(the sandwich in the baguette)We found this one along one side of Tivoli Arcade hemmed in by the hairdressers and the nail bars. Excellent find it was - no complaints at all.All freshly produced - you can see the freshly roasted meat being sliced and the salads/ vegetables being prepared. And the choices of fillings is good -... View all feedback.
What Sofia dislikes about VB Rolls:
Quality has deteriorated. I ordered crispy pork and I had to go back to the store to ask for pork even then, they didn’t give me that much. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 View all feedback.

I visited wb rolls, now located in the K-Mart mall at 222 Bourke Street. Arriving early, my options were limited so I opted for the rice paper rolls. They were filled with fresh salad ingredients but were quite pricey. I sat at a table in the mall before enjoying my meal.
It's always a pleasure to return to a restaurant for a second time and find that it is just as good as you remember. That was certainly the case last week at WB Rolls. I watched as my roll was made right in front of me and eagerly anticipated its completion. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was superb. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!
There are many similar Vietnamese cafes that serve the traditional Vietnamese banh mi (sandwich in a baguette), but we found a hidden gem located on the side of Tivoli Arcade. This cozy cafe is tucked away amongst hair salons and nail salons, but don't let that deter you. The food is fresh and delicious, with freshly roasted meats and perfectly prepared salads and vegetables. The menu offers a variety of fillings including pork, crispy pork, grilled chicken, roasted meats, and vegetarian options. The baguette is just right and the service is top-notch. For only A$10, you can enjoy a well-filled banh mi and a refreshing Vietnamese coffee. This cafe is like a slice of Hanoi in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.
This is my go-to spot for a quick, fresh, and delicious lunch. I particularly enjoy the nudelbox with an early roll and huh, which offers great value and unbeatable flavor. The rice paper rolls are also a favorite, with crispy chicken skin that is simply divine. The service is fast and the staff is friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience every time. Cheers!
I had the "What's Crack-A-Ling" banh mi with chili at this restaurant. The bread roll was soft on the inside and had a delicious crunch from the pork cracker. The ingredients were fresh, but I wish there was more pate in the sandwich as it was quite thin and hard to taste. Overall, it was a great value for the price and the location in the Tivoli Arcade is convenient.
