Utsav Indian Restaurant - Melbourne

We think so and we've tried a lot, Utsav consistently provides excellent food and service. The onion bharji are better that any around, the garlic naan outstanding, very light and crispy. Our favorites are the butter chicken, the fish Marsala and the beef vindaloo, although I'm sure there are plenty more we haven't tried yet. Can't wait to go back

Utsav is a gem in Heathmont. It is rather large but surprisingly quiet. It is BYO wine and parking is OK as this strip of shops is reasonably busy. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu, and as a group we tried a number, all very tasty with fresh ingredients and tantalizing flavours. The wait staff are great, and they will try and accommodate any wishes. It was a lovely dinner and we will definitely be back.

Utsav has a large menu to cater for all different tastes. From the mild to hot, the food is made to individual preferences. Attentive service and good ambiance complete the picture to create the perfect dining experience. Parking may be a problem for the busy nights so the side streets are an option for parking.

Utsav was born out of the old Mumbai Palace that was in Bayswater.It is now a spacious and very inviting restaurant in Heathmont, run by Anil.When you open the door, the smell of the spices is incredible, and your taste buds start to go wild !Food is excellent and the staff friendly and attentive.One of the best Indian restaurants in the eastern suburbs.Highly recommend a visit.
