What Anonym dislikes about Thread Cafe:
It's quite good food but it just lacks imagination... there are so many good options around, I think they need to step it up a little. Friendly staff...but slow. View all feedback.

Since moving to Malvern, I've been on a mission to tackle my local high street and the various food offerings.
I generally have a favorite coffee spot in most suburbs I have to visit in Melbourne. And Thread is a gem in malvern. Staff really help make this place with their star service backed up by the quality coffee and food.
Lovely cafe with a great courtyard. Friendly and accommodating staff. Menu looks good but I only had a delicious strong latte.
Of us went on a Monday was surprised how busy it was for in the morning. Lots to choose from also a specials board. I had the smashed avo also we shared different breads pastrys. Staff friendly helpful.. Owner makes the coffee, which was very good.
Popped into the cafe for coffee and snack and as always well worth the visit. The fruit bread is superb and coffee always very good. Whenever I’m in the Malvern area I go here, staff are fantastic and the feel inside the cafe is great....Must visit.

Friendly service. Didn’t quite hit the mark completely but willing to give it another go...strong chai latte was the highlight! Wagyu beef burger was alright, a bit too wet perhaps a nice tomato relish would go better than the current sauce. Crunchy chips and tangy tomato sauce worked well accompanying the dish.Gratefully nothing that the barista/head lady made another chai for the young boy who accidentally dropped his takeaway. Nice act of kindness :
This is one of the best cafes on Malvern road. Great atmosphere: friendly, cosy and reasonably priced none of the pretentiousness that some nearby places exhibit.
This place surprisingly did a really good big breakfast.... their honey chorizo is actually a gift from god best thing I have had for breakfast in a little while. Will probably be back here soon.
Lovely staff and lovely coffee and food! Always smiling and do their best to accomodate always! Small courtyard out the back and a very conscientious owner who is the barista! Always a great experience here!
At Thread I was greeted w a lovely warm smile from all the staff and I ordered a strong skinny latte. <br/ <br/ The coffee was a good temperature i.e meaning I could drink it straight away lol<br/ <br/ W single window seats this is my kind of cafe... and the kind of cafe that yo can relax and enjoy a coffee, read the paper and chillax. <br/ <br/ This place is definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
