Instead, we decided to dinate in the food court in the...Crown Entertainment/Casino complex in the same building as our hotel. we chose the carving restaurant and had a very good and quite delicious carving dinner. it was all as good as we would have enjoyed it in a fully equipped, regular restaurant. the meat was slightly baked and well cooked and the accompanying frits were also very good. the unfortunate part was that carving since our late food ended and we had to eat our meal out of the exhaust containers in their closed area.

As someone with celiac disease, I was hesitant to try their food, but the service manager was so friendly and accommodating. I was impressed by the variety of options available for my dietary needs. The meal, a medaille called "Hermanta", was delicious and I felt safe eating it. It has been a long time since I have been able to enjoy a meal at a fast food restaurant like this. The owners have done a great job of offering certifications for nutritional needs on their menu. Thank you Schnitz-You for a wonderful dining experience that rivals the 5-star food offered in local hotels, but at a fraction of the price. I will definitely recommend this place to others.

Located in the Crown Center's food court, schnitz is easily accessible on foot from nearby hotels. If you find yourself in the Crown Center, be sure to check out this spot.

We ordered the chicken schnitzel, coleslaw chips and the chicken schnitzel, garden salad chips. I'm totally addicted to...the special chicken salt they put on the fries! Quite a few different sauces you could choose from.... the mushroom gravy was incredible and you get plenty. Cozy environment, friendly staff, super fast service and the music channel they had playing on the screen was awesome. Yes it may have been a touch expensive but when you compare the prices to other restaurants around in Southbank, it's probably one of the cheaper places. It's worth every cent though. Two definate thumbs up! Really wish Schnitz would open up in South Australia!
