Nestled in the heart of Melbourne, this restaurant offers a range of takeout options at wallet-friendly prices, primarily featuring their renowned Chicken and Chips Pack. While many patrons have enjoyed the generous portions and flavorful offerings, others bemoan a noticeable decline in consistency and service quality. Reports of overcooked or cold chips, and mishandled orders have tarnished its reputation. Despite its potential, varying experiences make this a hit-or-miss spot. For those seeking a casual meal, it might be worth a visit, but diners should manage their expectations regarding service and food consistency.

It used to be an excellent place, but unfortunately, the owners have let the food and service quality decline over the past couple of years. The food is inconsistent; it can be either fantastic or completely inedible. The chips, which used to be perfect, are now often dry, overcooked, or served cold. I asked for ‘no salt,’ and they added it right in front of me. On another occasion, I requested fresh chicken from the spit, but they only offered the cold ones displayed in the window. Don't bother placing a phone order, as they don't honor them. You might arrive only to find that the items you wanted are already sold out. If you're looking for a hit-or-miss dining experience, this is the place for you.
I absolutely love the Mr. Chook burger! It's a fantastic spot, and the food is always fresh.
New owners, that barely speak English. Asked for a chicken (fillet roll) and got 2 day old disgusting chicken left overs. When challenged they played stupid. Give it a miss Now feel sick. Never again! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
