Reviews summary

This food court restaurant located near the Crown casino offers a variety of flavorful Indian dishes. The butter chicken is a standout, reminiscent of what you would find in India itself. The portion sizes are generous, although prices can be a bit on the expensive side. The quick service and laid-out dishes make it a convenient stop for a satisfying meal. The menu includes a range of options, from the delicious Chicken Manchurian to the creamy paneer masala. The dosa is a particularly impressive standout, drawing attention from other diners for its size and taste. While some dishes like the lamb vindaloo may not be as impressive, overall, this restaurant is worth a visit for a taste of good Indian food in the lively Crown food court. Plus, the naan, samosas, and curry puffs make great snacks to keep you going on a big night out.

Was Anonym at Kitchen Workshop a mag?

I went out for dinner on Saturday, and the cost was $49.95 per person. There was a wide variety of dishes, including pasta, pizza, meat, and seafood. The dessert selection featured soft serve ice cream, petit fours, and a chocolate fountain. I really appreciated the free and unlimited beverage station, where you can grab a jug and fill it with soft drinks, sparkling water, or still water. While nothing stood out as e... What Anonym dislikes about Kitchen Workshop:

Good varieties of savouries, salads and desserts. However majority of the food doesn’t stand out. If I have to choose, the best of all would be the beef stew and tiramisu. The whole experience is like eating in a food court during peak lunchtime. Crowded, noisy, long queue for food. View all feedback.

One of the food stores that I think it’s worth the money as compared to some of the others you can find in the Crown food court. The servings were generous and time taken to get your food is pretty quick since all the dishes are laid out. I ordered Butter Chicken, Beef Curry and Eggplant Masala for $16. It was flavorful, the eggplant masala was a little hot for me since it was medium spicy. I do wish that they had more vegetable dishes because it seemed like the eggplant masala was the only vegetable dish they had.

Only tried the food in the display window as I was wanting a quick snack as I passed crown to go home after work.<br/ <br/ Got the spring roll and curry puffs which was actually full of curry flavor and very nice and crunchy. Would go back to try their curries and naan soon!

One of the first places I have ever tried a butter chicken so this food court restaurant has a special place in the my heart. Even after going back after all these years I love the curries and butter chicken here, portion size is generous but price wise it is expensive as it is located right next to the casino

Honestly for a food court this place has amazing Indian food <br/ The lamb vindaloo was why this place lost a star, didn’t like it very much <br/ The paneer masala was incredible <br/ So beautiful and creamy and the paneer was the perfect complement <br/ The plate is big enough for two I’d say <br/ <br/ Would recommend

Delicious Chicken Manchurian at the Crown Melbourne food court. This place has been much raved by the better half but my prior Manchurian experiences did not leave me with a huge hope. But this dish was a review worthy. The chicken is fried to order so still crunchy with a stinging hear and sweet and sour blend. A staple Indian Chinese Dish which from today I will cherish. Well worth a try if you can take some spice.

You either love a buffet or your indifference to itLet me say that I am mostly indifference to buffets so take my words with a grain of salt.

If your coming here be prepared to eatBecause this all you can eat buffet really showcases alot of great food.

The food is reasonable for the price of $35 per person, as long as you don't expect the quality of Melba or the Conservatory. The shrimp were quite fresh, although some of the hot dishes were a bit dry, which is typical for most buffet restaurants. The Thai squid salad was very visually appealing. There’s also unlimited soft drink refills.

We got a lunch yesterday for everything you can eat, food was fine. At first they turned us away because we made an appointment for 7 people instead of 12 people, the rest of us are happy to go, but still they turned us away while we saw that many people still came in and left them in. They came with the apology that they don't have enough table for all of us. After some dramas they let us in, but we only have less than an hour for everything you can eat after all the dramas. Pretty disappointing, but everything else is good. All you can eat is $35 and I have a glass of wine for just $9.

We're excited as our first time to dine in at Kitchen workshop. We're booked in Crown so this is a closest and one of a good suggestions as mentioned by friends. We booked and reserved online so we skipped the queue on a busy lunch time. The staff is nice and very accommodating. To me there are few things i should not have been expecting too much. Varieties of foods are few for a thirty five bracket (forty dollars due to holiday surcharge). Seafoods range are also few, Salads are good, breads too but for a lunchtime buffet eat all you can, I was expecting ranges of choices. Good choice for ice cream and other desserts. But not really for the main course main dish. Another downside is the contacless payment surcharge and the 1.5 hrs duration of lunch time (not to mention the long queue). Next time when you queue up, skip the first to middle part of the queue as most of the foods are at the last stage. This however is a good place if you dine with kids as they are free.
