What Asa Metz doesn't like about Collins Quarter:
A nice little bar, if a little on the pricier side for what it is. The driving factor for the prices is the location located near a lot of the financial buildings on Collins St. This means the crowd on a Friday night is generally a sea of suits, prepare to be looked down upon by some of the other patrons if you're dressed casual. I do however enjoy the little seating alcoves inside, and the staff are friendly. In sho... View all feedback. What Wayne William Snelson likes about Collins Quarter:

read moreThe Collins Quarter offers a mixed experience with some highlights and drawbacks. The location near financial buildings on Collins St. attracts a crowd of suits on a Friday night, leading to a somewhat elitist atmosphere for casual visitors. The bar is on the pricier side, but the friendly staff and cozy seating alcoves add to the charm. The food receives high praise, with standout dishes like crayfish papadelle and slow-cooked Wagyu brisket. The atmosphere is described as fabulous, and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. The venue is also recommended for private parties and birthday celebrations, with a great selection of beers and attentive staff. Overall, despite some reservations, many guests look forward to returning to the Collins Quarter for another delightful meal or a fun night out.
I've been coming to Collins Quarter for age years now and I've never really known quite what to make of it.
I was rather surprised when I arrived at this bar to discover that it was in an old Victorian terrace house - I didn't think there were any terrace houses
Went for lunch with a few work colleagues The place was pretty empty which was nice.
