Was Anonym at Caffe Esc a mag?

If you're ever in Docklands and want a lovely breakfast and excellent coffee, come here. I travel down from Sydney for work at ANZ fairly regularly and this is my go to. They make their own cakes etc, and it's run by a very friendly team. It's on the outside of the ANZ building. What Mable Pagac dislikes about Caffe Esc:

I ordered a medium-sized white and a croissant roasted with butter and jam to take away. I received a small flat white in a Takeaway Cup and a croissant to eat. The guy on the street seemed new, so I generally wouldn't have a problem with the service. What turned me off was the personal dynamics. Instead of supporting and guiding the poor until the boy was spoken like an idiot in front of everyone. Sighs and scoops d... View all feedback.

I was on a business visit to Melbourne and i was working in Docklands. My workplace is right next to the Cafe Esc in collins street. The first day, i visited this cafe, i could figure that this was a great place to grab coffee...and some breakfast, before heading off to work. The kindness of the service folks, in this cafe is something that is very obvious. Its always Service with a smile and nothing gets your day going, than a cheerful barista, serving you coffee and muffins with a greeting. I went to grab breakfast here every other day and if i ever went back to Melbourne, im going back here when im around docklands.

Great for a grab-n-go or a meeting place. Don't make the mistake of being put off by the throngs clustered around at peak times, these guys will get you that critical morning caffeine hit in an amazingly speedy fashion. A nice sunny spot in the mornings to sit outside and enjoy with one of the fresh-baked muffins.

Appealing specials menu board and the corn and zucchini was such a flavoursome treat. Plenty of variety for both breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices. Coffee was good and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful

I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious combination of buttered bread, spicy chili scrambled eggs, and bacon at Caffe Esc. I ordered the chili scramble eggs with bacon, spring onions, and harissa on toast for $15.00 and was blown away by the flavors. The cafe, located inside ANZ, may not look like much from the outside but the food exceeded my expectations. It's hard to find places that do spicy scrambled eggs well, but Caffe Esc nailed it with a perfect balance of heat and flavor. The bread was also exceptional, with a crunchy exterior and a creamy buttery interior that complemented the eggs perfectly. While the eggs may have appeared a bit too yellow, they tasted great. I highly recommend trying the chili scrambled eggs at Caffe Esc. The only drawbacks were some confusion with ordering and presentation, but overall, this cafe is excellent and definitely worth a visit. I would recommend it to friends.

I recently stopped for a quick breakfast at this restaurant and tried their bircher muesli. It was made with almond milk and Greek yogurt, and I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. The dish was topped with seeds, goji berries, and frozen blueberries, which provided a unique crunchy texture. It was a delicious and satisfying meal.

I ordered the grilled chicken burger, which was served in a soft Turkish bread bun. The chicken was not breaded and had a subtle seasoning, a nice change from the fried chicken I've been indulging in lately. The accompanying chips were delicious. We also tried the Nasi Goreng, which came in a bowl with egg and was described as tasty and was quickly devoured. I look forward to returning to try some of the healthy-sounding cereal-based breakfast options that caught my eye.

Bsolutely unacceptable and humiliating. I was in this café with a client for a meeting. I ordered coffee and paid in full before it arrived. As we were leaving, a waitress chased us outside accusing us of not paying. I explained we had paid and even pointed out the staff member behind the counter who took the payment. Despite this, she ran after us AGAIN, repeating the accusation. In front of my client, I was forced to pull out my invoice to prove payment. Only then did the man behind the counter finally admit that yes — we had paid. This level of incompetence and lack of communication between staff is shocking. Publicly accusing customers of not paying, twice, is unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional. I will never return and would strongly advise others to think twice before visiting.
