Was Jane Denesik at Ba Sar a mag?

The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. But the service was terrible. It took awhile to get served and it wasn't even flatout. The meals came out quick but they never came back to clear plates or refill water. View all feedback.

What Loyal Deckow dislikes about Ba Sar:

There isn't much positive to say about this place. The atmosphere is plain, the food is average, and it lacks the authentic aromas of Vietnamese cuisine. It's more of a takeout spot than a sit-down restaurant. The staff were friendly, which is a plus. This place is better suited for takeout rather than dining in. View all feedback.

I've tried a few Vietnamese places to eat and this is the one that stands out the most! The Pho is spot on and the Banh Mi makes you feel like you're in Vietnam. I cannot forget to mention that all the members of staff are really friendly and like their job!I would highly recommend you eat at Ba Sar!

My friend and I decided to have an impromptu birthday lunch here. Unfortunately they were changing over their wine supplier and had little wine, but we had our own bottle for which they did not charge corkage. We chose the vietnamese soft rolls (one each), a bowl of Pho and a salad between us and this was quite filling. The food was refreshing and not expensive.

Ern Vietnamese cuisine !!! Different to what I am used to !!! I go there nearly every weekend for a lunch. Food is fresh, prepared to order, full of flavours and colour. Service is quick and the owners lovely. The decor is superb - modern, clean so different... Awsome music !!! My personal favourite on the menue is the vegetarian pho and the tofu baguette !!! :D REALLY RECOMMENDED !!! Signed by fussy eate

Ba sar is a Vietnamese restaurant offering a range of simple dishes using a range of meats, and with vegetarian options. I tried the rice paper rolls (lemongrass chicken) and the salad (beef lemongrass) and found both to be excellent. The wine list is quite good and at a reasonable price for what is on it. Dishes are listed as gluten free and vegetarian as appropriate.

If you haven't tried the food at Ba Sar then you're definitely missing out on an awesome Vietnamese meal. Lots of food to choose from the prawn & pork papaya salad to the delicious grilled lemongrass chicken crunchy baguette rolls. Keep up the great work.
