Ocean 302 - Melbourne Beach
Ocean 302
Description
This farm-to-table restaurant offers a constantly changing menu, which may not be ideal for those seeking specific dishes. The short rib was praised, but portion size left some wanting more. Well-done steak lovers were disappointed by over-charred results. Service issues included long waits, poorly cooked gluten-free pizza, and subpar communication. However, the food quality and family-friendly atmosphere were highlights for some diners. Overall, the establishment received mixed reviews, with some praising the excellent food and top-notch service, while others were let down by limited menus and service mishaps.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere! Jamie, our server was very attentive and took good care of us. My pork chop was huge and perfectly cooked, and the duck drums appetizer was delish! My hubby had the fish and chips which was a very generous portion! We will visit again! Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

302, pbtttt, more like 202. Website says they’re open on Monday. Open table took the reservation on Monday. Turns out they’re closed on Monday. Now we’re eating pizza in a parking lot. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Would give this gem more than 5 stars if I could. Started with the house special Ocean 302 cocktail which was light, refreshing and sparkled... Literally with little sparkles. So fun and delicious. Ordered seared scallops served over mushroom risotto andthe dish was incredible. So delicious, flavorful and really well seasoned. Service was top notch and the room is beautiful butlaid back comfortable. Go here and treat yourself to a spectacular meal. Did I mention sparkles!!
I hosted a business dinner at Oceans 302 and everyone agreed it was a great dinner. I sure was Jamie and she was attentive but not intrusive throughout the meal. Service was excellent. The chef visited us before we ordered to tell us about some specialoff menu items. He was engaging and it was really cool to hear his take on what got him excited. We didn't have any appetizersbut two of us ordered the shrimp bisque soup. This was a cream-based soup. The flavors were pretty good but it was a littlebland and a little thinner than how I normally think of a bisque. There wasn't a ton of meat in the soup either. It was okay butnot great. I had the fish and chips which came with several made in-house sauces. Everything was good but, to be honest, it'sreally hard to put a twist and elevate such a simple meal. It was just okay. The people at the table who had the scallopsentree loved them and said they would absolutely order those again. Overall this was a really good meal and the atmosphere wasgreat.
