Ember Oak in downtown Melbourne offers a high-end steakhouse experience with a mix of highs and lows. The ribeye and steak are delicious, cooked well and flavorful, but the Caesar salad may disappoint. Service was polite and accommodating, though spotty toward the end of the meal. Prices are high for decent food quality. The ambiance, with live music, is lovely, and the staff is friendly. Overall, Ember Oak is a pleasant dining experience with potential for improvement in areas such as food temperature, Caesar salad, and service consistency. A visit might be worth considering but with some reservations.
We had a fantastic meal! The presentation and flavors were absolutely delicious. We enjoy celebrating at Ember and Oak.
Decent restaurant nice vibe and very polite service. Food was reasonable 'fine dining ' but not as good as 'Scotts on Fifth, ' was surprised their steak wasn 't better, but all around pretty good.
We had the chef's steak board. Everything was very tasty except the tritrip steak was a bit tough. The bytheglass wine selection was small and, since I like white zinfandel or sweet Riesling, I was disappointed neither was available. There were no bottles that I considered reasonably priced I didn't see anything less than and most were in excess of so that was not an option. I selected Moscato but you were out of that. I ended up with a Rose that was just OK
The wife and I went out on a date night and we wanted to try something new for dinner and we decided Ember Oaks. We loved it, the food came out hot and at a good timely manner. Or sever was amazing as well alway's on top of it checking on us. I would differently recommend this place to our friends and family. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Although the menu seemed a little complicated at first, the experience was phenomenal. Can't wait to come back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100+
