After we tried... read more Bubba's Backyard BBQ has the works when it comes to BBQ and man, it surely tastes great! This was one of the best diving experiences we ever had. After we tried a sample of all Bubba pages that were all too tasty to choose from, we finally narrowed it to four that would go with our two diners. The ribs, brisket, pulled pig and ham that we ate was absolutely amazing, and it is unlike any BBQ I previously cost; in a good way! We're from South Carolina and we know Barbecue. Bubba's Backyard BBQ has a unique family recipe taste that you can't find anywhere except in a warm, friendly place like Bubba's. Try if you are in Melbourne or just I95 on the way. My son and I had lunch at Bubba's today for the first time. Bubba came out and spoke to us. After he found out that it was our first visit, he hooked us up with some amazing samples. Every sample was delicious! The Mac and cheese was THE BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD!!! I'm not usually a big fan of Mac-n-cheese, but this stuff was incredible! After all of the delicious samples, we were anticipating a fantastic entree. We were not let down. I had the pulled pork sandwich and, as expected, it was delicious! The cole slaw was fantastic too. He had several yummy sauces to chose from, I used the hot bbq sauce. I think I could have drank it straight from the bottle! It was perfect! The deserts were super yummy, too! I just can't say enough about this place. The atmosphere, the food and the people were above anything that I've encountered, ever, in a restaurant. This is by far, the absolute best bbq and dining experience that I have ever had! I live in Rockledge, right down the street from a bbq restaurant, but I will drive to Bubba's from now on. Don't cheat yourself, go get the good stuff!

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical going into a strip mall type restaurant for barbecue as I'm from East Tennessee, and honestly I tend to seek out fancier places. Upon my first visit, the pulled pork was very, very good. A week later, I was craving Bubba's : Now I see how the locals here compare the food to crack, or another addiction. Since then, I've discovered the pork is awesome, as are the sauces. The beef brisket is even better. And, the desserts are absolutely to die for!! The service is great, and the people are friendly. Bubba's has become one of my favorite places.

The only reason we left was because we live 1.5 miles away and had a voucher. I was initially hesitant to go, as I wasn't in the mood for another dry, disappointing barbecue place that seems typical for the spots along Wickham Rd. I have to admit, my initial thoughts were proven wrong. I enjoyed every sample they offered us. If I had to criticize anything, I’d say the pulled pork was a bit straightforward, but that can easily be enhanced by one of their homemade sauces. Everything is made from scratch, except for the fries, which they are working on improving. What truly stood out was the fried fish—it was exceptional, featuring tender, flaky fish coated in a delicate, crunchy cornmeal crust, which is unusual for a BBQ restaurant. The friendly service and homemade dishes from a family that has been in the dairy farming business make this place a much-needed addition to the community. We will definitely be back!
