Was Jane Gray at The Hardinge Arms a mag?
Popped down the other Saturday to try the food but unfortunately they were not serving food. There was a pop up mexican outside so we stopped and ate that inside the pub. It was very nice and friendly. To be fair there was entertainment on and I assume that is the reason why there was no food. Service: 4 Location: 4 View all feedback.

Friendly welcome, great cask beer, and a genuinely warm and homely atmosphere. Wasn't able to eat (was a bit early) but word from the locals is its very good and I was very tempted to stay for some sausage casserole!

I found this lovely little (locals pub on my recent stay in the area, which I visited several times. It is a great place to stay if you like walking as there are many routes nearby. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, as were all the locals. It has a great atmosphere. I took my family in one evening to have dinner. The food was very tasty. We will definitely go back when next in the area. Service: 5
