Great ambience, nice waiters, drinks are good. Unfortunately, the goose skin costing at least 30 euros was not particularly good. Sosse, rather boring, the lumps hard, the red herb fades. I had to leave everything behind because it was cold. If you weren't so comfortable, you could also save a visit there. Service: Dine in Meal Type: Dinner View all feedback.
Vincenz Richter Restaurant awaits you in a historic, irradiated yellow house on a main square in Meissen with a picturesque, authentic German culinary experience. The Richter family has operated this landmark restaurant since 1873. The dining room is decorated with medieval armor and weapons,...antique copper cooking appliances and during our visit to Easter, fresh flowers and pastel Easter eggs. The courtyard is also worth it. Since we were on a Viking country trip, our time in Meissen was very limited, so we enjoyed a relaxing late afternoon glass of unique Meissen wine. The Muller-Thurgau and the Traminer were excellent.
Miit over 1000 years of history is Meissen one of the oldest cities in Saxony. We strolled through the interesting old town, visited the WOMENKIRCHE and then read out the evening with a good food in the beautiful ROMANTIK-RESTAURANT VINZENZ RICHTER. Of course, with a glass of wine from the Saxon wine road, which is very good here. This almost 500-year-old building monument (1523) is something very special and has been owned by the family generation Vinzenz Richter since 1873. At the house you find the saying: Beautiful women who make the Lord alone. Beautiful houses but and wine, must be human. Excellent cuisine and best wines can be enjoyed here in various rooms (one of them more beautiful than the other): 1) in the left Weinstube front 2) in the right Weinstube front 3) in the separate Weinstube 4) in the romantic Weinhof 5) in the Meisterstube der Tuchmacherzunft.

This restaurant offers a very good value for money in a historical environment, especially the open courtyard is unique. the head of the house...More
Something hidden at the meißener market - but great spatialities - very warm reception - two great menus were offered - and the wine advice was excellent
