We stayed in Meiringen one night, a Sunday. Most businesses were closed and we ended up at Restuarant Baer. It was excellent! We had very fresh salads, a chicken dish, a pasta dish and an excellent vegetable plate. We had just come from Montreux, Bern and Zurich. Good coffee,nice and friendly place, pretty staff. Cozy, calm restaurant, more for.locals than for tourists. Still a good recommendation.
One evening we took the beafsteak tartar and the kids selected pizza. We were all more than happy with the quality.
