This place is incredible, the food is always fresh and the meat is top notch. If you are in the area this place is a must if you are craving kebab. The service is great too. View all feedback.
What francis byrne doesn't like about Pita House:
This food was disgusting the gyro meat had a burnt taste and was covered in grease the meat was also very fatty the French fries were covered in oil and were soggy the turkey orzo soup was a cup of oil with no flavor this was the absolute worst gyro I have ever had in my life the food also made my wife sick this was the first and last time I will be ordering from pita house View all feedback.

Pita House is a fantastic restaurant. I eat there several times a month and am always greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly proprietor and his staff. Two of my favorite dishes are the hummus sandwich with grilled vegetables and the the Sautee Lamb. They also have the Turkish beer, Efes, which is excellent. Check this place out!
Best Mediterranean food in Long Island. The soups are excellent. When I start to feel run down, I stop by for their lemon chicken soup. Their entrees are delicious and very generous portions.
Lovely spacious dining room with an abundant menu, finely prepared food and a homey feel. The lemon chicken soup was outstanding perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of dill. The salads we ordered were served with the addition of chicken and chicken adana and were both fresh and delicious. Found we needed to request additional pita and house bread as it just kept disappearing : Will be back to sample more of their selections. Next time planning to round it off with a turkish coffee and their baklava. A real treat.
