La Bella Pizza - Medford

La Bella Pizza is a small Italian restaurant on the corner of a strip-mall in Medford, NJ. There are interior seats and a cozy outdoor terrace with very comfortable seating. The staff is energetic and very friendly. The discs are enormous and there are several options to choose from. I decided to go with the classic Margherita disc. Another interesting thing about this pizzeria is its unique bottle of soda. They offer grapes, birch beer and root beer (and possibly more, but I have forgotten all the others). I went with the Birch beer that was very pleasant. The Birch Beer was not excessively fizzy and not as spicy as before. It was a mild taste, but well paired with the pizza slice. The pane had a thin crust on the bottom and the sauce was layered on the cheese. The sauce was much spicier than other pizzas I enjoyed, but this is likely, in part, because of the excessive scattering of the oregano leaves. They are stuck in my teeth a bit, but not much away from the overall experience, as they added a beautiful spicy flavor profile of the pizza. The crust at the end was crispy on the outside, but also on the inside fluffy. The owner surprised me by throwing a few garlic knots that were also quite good. They were not hot, but they had a nice balance of garlic to butter. It was very nice of him to give me the hook and it made my experience much happier and made me feel special. Overall, the pizza was pretty good and I would like to come back if I ever were in the area.

I just visited “La Bella” Pizza in Medford, Nj! All I can say is wow!! This is by far the best piece I ever had and I had my fair share of pizza! I am a Philly native and looking for work, I never make reviews, but I have to tell someone about this experience! The staff is phenomenal and the food is better than good! The slice is huge and very delicious!! The staff is attentive and simply perfect!!! Also you must there rice balls, they are to die for!!! Thank you “La Bella” for the joy of great food and amazing people!
