Bagels Your Way - Medford

So I am not okay with this as I have a niece with egg allergies. The first item on their vegan menu is vegan bacon egg and cheese. It 's great really, you get to choose your cheese all types. But they write 'may contain egg white ' Now it 's morning star bacon, I looked it up, nothing has changed in their recipe, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and was under pressure to order, I ate it and then looked it up later Big mistake. I got sausage next time. I mostly went back to ask them to change their sign. I will go back once more to see if they did. They did switch their sausage which is better, a while ago I went and it was gross, in my opinion, it wasn 't breakfast sausage more of one that I would eat with rice and beans. And my son well he likes his bagels, and overall, he thinks there 's are pretty bad... It 's worth the trip to fuel in hickville or gregory 's in deer park if you want a vegan egg sandwhich... or huntington at blue stella

Staff didn't seem to know what was vegan or not. The menu says plant based for egg based products. Limited options, but fine in a pinch.

Bagels Your Way is a must for me whenever I 'm in Medford! Their bagels are delicious and I 'm super thankful for the option to get myself a vegan breakfast sandwich (even if when I add vegan eggs, sausage, and cheese, the price doubles...worth it because breakfast is my favorite meal). They even have vegan cream cheese options if that 's what you 're into! Just beware: the plant-based bacon isn 't vegan. Unless something has changed, they use MorningStar meat alternatives, and MorningStar bacon is just vegetarian. In my mind, plant-based vegan, but that isn 't the case for everyone or every business

The omlettes are so good! Lots of choices of things to toss in and a few different choices of cheeses.

Edit: they use morning star bacon which is vegetarian so their bacon egg and cheese isn’t vegan. The sausage patties are vegan Okay so this is def expensive and you can make it at home yourself. But… vegan egg sandwiches?!? At a deli?!? On Long Island?! I never thought I’d see the day. Their vegan cream cheese bagels are great too!! The price makes it not an everyday thing but it’s so cool to have a bagel place to go with my friends and grab some breakfast. Updated from previous review on 2023-03-05
