Edit: We returned for a second visit. This time the server tried to sell us on alcohol. Tacky and annoying. Then he overloaded us at $160. No excuse, but he corrected the mistake. (Only because we are not Spanish speakers, we can still make maths. There was a bad taste, and we wouldn't return, even for the big burgers. Original: We sat immediately when we arrived at 7:30 on Tuesday. The menu is long and closes with a photo of the owner in swimming equipment, a little unusual, but okay. My family ordered a number of different articles: burger, bowl, to share plates. Good flavors a little different from the other Veg places we visited, with attention to aesthetics and presentation as well as food. I especially liked the shot of lemon juice, probably the cheapest item on the menu. We shared lemon and blueberry cakes for dessert, and that was also excellent. The decor is soothing, and although it has something of an elevated mood, we were not underdrawn in our casual Californian tourist clothing. Updated by previous review on 2023 05 03
We spent a week here in Medellín and this was our best meal. Mushroom tacos and tofu tikka masala. Great cocktails--and the Chilean rosé was incredible.
The interior is so so so beautiful. The food was also very delicious, we had the croissant sandwich, the hotdog callejero and the cheeseburger. For dessert we had the tiramisu and salted caramel cookie with a hot chocolate. I would def come back here!
A slightly mixed experience. The starter we chose spiral potatoes was absolutely amazing. One of the most delicious dishes I’ve had in a long time. I can hardly describe it because it was too good for words! Truffle oil was in there which I think was the magic ingredient. I think this was my downfall because then the ‘chicken’ burger and fries was a bit disappointing the fries were just skinny fries and the burger tasted like a commercial one (not sure if made in house or not) a bit salty and too smothered in sugary sauce. So I didn’t enjoy that. The chocolate chunk cookie for dessert was ok would have been better if I’d chosen ice cream with it I think. Next morning we got takeaway croissants which were nice but not blow your mind nice. So overall go for the spiralled potatoes and you won’t regret it! Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25
