Sam's Hotdog Stand - Mechanicsville

Very nice little retro style hot dog place. Hotdogs were good beef. Chilli was very good. As a local Jersey girl/underground NYC does not compare it, but it is a beautiful place to take the children.

Hot Dogs are so soft and delicious. Bread is light, warm and airy. Definitivamente recommend this place! Yum!!

I'm still giving this place 5 stars!!! The food is just as amazing with the new owners as it was before!!! The staff was wonderful as well! It's definitely a great spot for a quick lunch and a chat!!!

We had a fantastic experience with their hot dogs—delicious toppings and incredible service. We mistakenly arrived just 7 minutes before closing, but the staff didn't say a word and even prepared fresh fries for our order. When I apologized for coming in right before closing, they were so gracious, responding with, "Don't worry about it! We're here for you! Thank you for your business!" It's understandable that it can be frustrating for them when customers come in right as they're closing, but their kindness and willingness to serve us were truly remarkable.
