Five Guys - Mechanicsville

Food is excellent. Wanted a GOOD burger, and got one.

Five Guys hamburgers are just great. What else can you say. Their French Fries are fresh and done boardwalk style with vinegar sitting at the counter waiting to go one them. The burgers are cooked to order, yup they don't go on the grill until you order. Here is what surprises me about 5 Guys. I have waited in McDonald's for a hamburger longer then I have waited in 5 Guys, so why would anyone ever walk into a McDonald's when there is a 5 Guys with a 1/8th of a mile. I'm doing 5 Guys every time. I wish we had one in my town. 5 stars because this is not fine dining, this is a burger joint and it is a 5 star fast food burger joint. No fine dining or specialty sandwiches.

Thee best burgers in any town! Don't waste your money on any other burger. The fries are hot and fresh every single time and enough to feed 2 people.

Unless you are vegetarian, this is awesome. Custom burgers and cheese dogs are life! This location has more space than it's previous one and they still offer peanuts to snack on while u wait ?

For a $15.00 burger it was disappointing . My Wife makes a better burger. Not greasy an a fresh toasted bun.
