Wonderful food! Been going to Deep Creek for many many years and first time here. Steaks were perfectly cooked and appetizers were excellent. Really enjoyed the French onion with portobello mushrooms instead of bread! Will definitely make this a staple date night each year for vacation. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pine Lodge Steakhouse:
This was our 2nd attempt after a somewhat disastrous visit in the off season several years ago. Our entrees were ok, but nothing special. The service was friendly, although somewhat inattentive (there was a large party at another table that seemed to be the focus). Frankly, there are better choices in the Deep Creek area. Prime rib was not edible. Cowboy ribeye was a very poor grade. Loaded potato was old. Broccoli Was tuff. Service was good. Salad was good but came out after our entree was serviced
Great place along the beautiful lake. The food was incredible and the staff was attentive and very professional. Next time in Maryland will definitely be back
Visited this for my boyfriends birthday hoping to visit a nice steakhouse by the prices of everything. Was seriously let down. Ordered a bottle of Moscato to be told they only had a half of bottle, so had to order wine we really didn't want nor liked. Ordered the Siaracha shrimp, never recieved them. Ordered the $11 bowl of cream of crab, was not worth it, had some weird stuff in it. Me n my boyfriend Ordered the steaks. Me filet and boyfriend the cowboy steak. Steaks came mine undercooked his over cooked. I asked for medium, came out rare. Boyfriend asked for med rare, came out more medium well. Sent them back. His came out fine the second time, mine came out half medium, half well and half still rare. It was the worst filet and weirdest cut of filet I have ever had. Def low low grade of meat. When a filet has a tail on it , it's not good quality. Especially for the price of these steaks. Ruth Chris has way better steaks n not to much more expensive than this place. I sent my steak back again , couldn't eat it. So all the inconvenient with the wine, shrimp and steak instead of discounting the check she offered everyone dessert that no one really wanted. Get the check and they did not take anything off for the steak I sent back twice. I had to ask for a discount only to recieve 50%. So dissatisfied with this place we will not return. I work in the industry and when so many things go wrong with a table u do more to make it right than offer dissert . Someone doesn't like something twice u take the whole dish off not 50%. If u want to spend over $100 for low grade food this is ur place. If not go elsewhere
HORRIBLE, SLOW service. My wife and I were at Deep Creek Lake for the first time, and we heard rave reviews about this place. We went on a Sunday for lunch. First, there was only ONE server, and although she was friendly, she was very slow-paced. From the time we sat down, it took 20 minutes for ANYONE to acknowledge that we were there and to bring us menus and order drinks. As far as the food, it was subpar and WAY over-priced for the quality. It was a $42 ribeye, but absolutely nothing special. I would have much rather eaten at Outback Steakhouse, but we wanted a place we couldn’t eat at where we live. If we ever come back to Deep Creek Lake, we will not be going to this restaurant, nor will we ever recommend it to anyone.
