Entree disappointing... read more Service friendly, helpful and staff were genuinely interested in the diner. Waitress thoughtfully set up a table for us next to the window. Entree disappointing; doughy dumplings, over sauced oysters. Main course delicious; Cajun chicken moist and perfectly spiced, ribeye steak cooked perfectly and accompaniments matched well. Excellent wine list. Coffee (decaf and regular) full bodied and creamy. Unfortunately no room for dessert, but there was a good choice and it looked delicious

The staff were really friendly, obviously loved their roles and made us feel well looked after. We counted 6 different staff members who came to see to our needs. We ordered our drinks and meals. All was served quickly. We enjoyed our meals. The flavours were good, and the servings were also good.At one point the evening sun was coming in through the windows, blinding my wife and other patrons - the staff solved this quickly and efficiently with the closing of the curtains - well done!We enjoyed our time here. We especially enjoyed the value for money, with our visit being on a Tuesday, which is 2 for 1 day at the restaurant - nice!Try Baudin's - we think you'll like it - especially on Tuesday's

We arrived early to explore the surroundings and h... read more My wife and I made a reservation for dinner at Baudin's via phone at 5:30 in the morning for an evening meal. We arrived early to explore the surroundings and have a drink at the bar before our romantic dinner. At 5:30, we went to the restaurant only to find out that they were not open until 6 o'clock. The hostess directed us to the bar, where we were told that the same menu was available but did not mention that our reservation had been transferred there. We ended up waiting until 6 o'clock and then returned to the restaurant for our dinner. The waiter then informed us that there was no booking under our name and that we should have gone to the bar. Despite the confusion, the waiter managed to seat us in the restaurant, although not by the window as we had hoped. To make matters worse, we found that the food at the restaurant was of subpar quality. The floors were dirty from a previous event, not what we would expect from a high-end restaurant. While the staff was friendly, the overall experience was not what we had anticipated. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Baudin's. We recommend trying it yourself to see if it meets your expectations.

So now I think the side was meant for the bistro. but I'm insecure. the first review I wrote is on the side of the restaurant, but it was intended for our meal at baudin’s. we enjoyed our dinner, with friendly and helpful service of megan. my menu choice was not asked with a fuss and my man and I found both our meals tasty and fill and enjoyed the landscape, with views of the golf course, with a wide view to the nearby hills. a beautiful meal and we would be happy to visit again.
