Everyone loved this place, I was the only vegan. The service was great, the ambience, the location (on the main street) and the food. I had to try the cauliflower (after reading the previous review) and it did not disappoint. The omnis all loved it! What Royal Volkman doesn't like about Hotel Elliot:
Staff were either poorly trained or just plain inattentive. Food was nice but waiting for over 10 minutes for someone to take our dessert order was not. Waitresses preferred to reset entire dining room and then polish glassware, so we left even though all of us would have happily had dessert. Their loss. View all feedback.
I love the food here, the steak was just perfect and also came with a delicious salad. The pavlova was made in the premises and was great. The staff was also very nice.
Hotel Elliott was beautiful. The day we went was busy, but the service was still timely. We had a table near the big open window that was beautiful. Even more so beautiful when the tail train went past, as we could see in all its glory directly from our table. The food was also wonderful.
I had a nice lunch today. We had lunch special of a main course and dessert for $24. The Porterhouse Steak, amazing chips and salad and a small Pavlova with assorted berries and cream. The steak was tender, chips so beautiful and crisp and the Pavlova was delicious. The waitresses were very attentive and the bar staff a happier, cheerful bunch. Would recommend.
My steak was perfectly cooked, tasty, tender and loaded with piping hot chips too good! Ice cold design beer with friendly service and plenty of space to enjoy a quiet meal, socialize in a larger group, dine solo or enjoy the fresh air outside
I ordered from the Seniors menu and the food was awesome! Perfectly cooked steak with yummy salad and excellent chips. The berry pavlova was to die for. The staff were lovely too. I'll be back again and again!
