Ribs was sooo tender and the baked beans were to die for. Great customer service also....If I could give them 10 stars I would.... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What F Phillips doesn't like about State Line Bbq:
NOT the best I’ve eaten. Beans were just pork n beans from can with bbq sauce. Slaw was nothing but chopped cabbage with slaw dressing. I make better slaw and husband makes better baked beans. Pulled pork was bland and pulled chicken was too spicy. Won’t be going back. Also was too pricey for what you get. Atmosphere leaves much to be desired. Loud music, most likely to keep folks from staying too long. Service: Dine... View all feedback.
The best BBQ Tater Hill is always delicious and the ribs were full of meat and smokiness.
I’m in the area because of the Blue Ridge Railway. State Line BBQ was less crowded than the other eateries nearby and I’m so glad that I came! It super close to the train entrance and the food was filling delicious. I had the ribs with mac cheese and potato salad. Teresa was awesome and made me feel welcomed! Since I’m on a time crunch, I was pleased that my food came out in a timely manner and I was able to enjoy it. I had a great experience here and definitely recommend it!
Good basic BBQ for a decent value. Food service were good as expected.
Fantastic food! We had pulled pork, pulled chicken, and brisket all were excellent and the side were too! The item that was most shocking were the tater tots. WOW! We had to order extra tater tots, because they were so good. Will definitely return. Can't wait to try ribs next time.
We took the train ride and this was the closest to our stop. ONE young lady took ALL of the orders in the dining room. No line no waiting. We didn't lack anything. Food was good. How she did it was short of amazing. Everyone was eating. I saw no one disgruntled. Keep up the good work.
