Menu

A complete overview of all 101 meals and beverages can be found here on the menu of Ocoee River Cafe from Copperhill.

Nestled on the outskirts of Copperhill, this charming café wins praise for breakfast but suffers from inconsistent food quality, sluggish service and troubling hygiene lapses—customers report hair in food, flies, and spoiled milk. Portions and wait times feel overpriced, seating and views are limited, and it's a long walk from the depot. Families and tourists enjoy the cozy vibe when it’s good, but quality and cleanliness concerns suggest waiting until operations improve.

My friends and I took the Blue Ridge train to Copper Hill, Tennessee, and after getting off the train, we were searching for a place to eat. What Eric C dislikes about Ocoee River Cafe:
We found hair in our food and were served curdled milk for our child, thankfully she didn't drink it. To top it off, we had to deal with flies buzzing around while we ate. I cannot recommend this place. View all feedback.

I made a beeline for the cozy heated corner, which felt wonderful, and the waitress quickly took our order after bringing us steaming hot coffee and Diet Coke. We enjoyed browsing through the memorabilia on the walls and taking in the views through the large scenic windows. Our breakfast arrived quickly and was served piping hot! The scrambled eggs were cheesy, the bacon was perfectly crisp, and the waffles were large, featuring a delightful crunch on the outside and a soft, fluffy center—just like my grandma used to describe the inside of a biscuit, "the cotton." We also topped them with butter and maple syrup. We were glad we arrived early because the place filled up fast while we were finishing our plates. Ocoee River Cafe is truly a hidden gem located next to the Ocoee River in Copperhill, TN!

The nearby restaurants were quite busy, and their menus were quite limited. So, we decided to walk the extra five minutes to the Ocoee River Cafe, and it was the best decision we could have made! The service was outstanding, and the staff was exceptionally kind. Knowing we were on a tight schedule for the train, they ensured we were seated and served in under an hour! Our food arrived in just 15 minutes—everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious! The owner even came out to check on us and shared a few jokes! This quaint little restaurant is one of the oldest and best in Copper Hill. Make sure to stop by; you won’t regret it!

Awesome biscuits and gravy and home cooked style menu. Prices are definitely the best in the area. We sat outside with a view of the river on a hot day and surprisingly the bugs weren't bad. The service was friendly and accommodating to the mixed breakfast and lunch order because we arrived right at the cut off time. Definitely going back!

We were just passing through the area and decided to give this place a try. Well worth the stop! Quick and excellent breakfast food, kind waitstaff, and a wonderful experience. Definitely will be back if in the area!

If I could give 0 I would. A group of six us went there for lunch yesterday after touring the Burra Burra museum. The service was painfully slow. There was only one other occupied table of four . The food was terrible the hamburger I ordered was inedible. The BLT my wife ordered was so slathered with mayonnaise she had to scape it off. Sorry to trash any business but go elsewhere.
