I ordere... read more Here’s an honest review of my visit to Mill Steaks And Spirits. The ambiance was inviting and pleasant, but the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. I ordered the New York steak priced at $40, only to find it surprisingly bland. The pepper seasoning was barely noticeable, feeling more like a faint attempt rather than a thoughtful flavor addition. I would hesitate to recommend it given the cost. The calamari was okay, though the dipping sauce reminded me more of something from a fast-food chain than a traditional calamari accompaniment. The fries, or potato bites, were tasty but could benefit from a bit more seasoning to bring out their flavor. On a brighter note, my wife’s fish and chips were excellent—the fish was light, fluffy, and practically melted in the mouth. Unfortunately, the cocktails were somewhat weak and lacked punch. Overall, we spent over $110 for two dinners, and at that price point, I expected more robust flavors. However, the staff were friendly and professional, striking a great balance by being attentive without being intrusive, and making sure our drinks never ran dry.

That said, the food is solid, the steaks are high-quality and cooked perfectly. The drinks are strong and served promptly. The staff are very friendly, making for a pleasant and relaxing evening. We recommend dining in the bar area by the fireplace for a cozy experience.

Unfortunately, both the steak and salmon seemed not fresh, likely previously frozen and thawed. The salmon was overcooked, and the steak medallions were served raw to rare despite my request for medium. The quality was so poor that we barely took two bites and couldn’t continue. Considering the high prices, this was not a good experience at all. I've never encountered a meal so bad that I refused to eat more. The fettuccine Alfredo was barely acceptable, and the noodles were oddly broken into stick-like pieces—very strange. We were rushed to order but then ignored once our food arrived, leading to an agonizingly long wait to pay and leave. On a positive note, the bar area with the fireplace is fantastic! I recommend visiting Mill Steaks And Spirits just for a drink and to relax in the bar. We didn’t realize dining was allowed in the bar area, which would have been a much better experience. Instead, we were cramped in a busy corner, squeezed in with a limited timeframe for two, even though there were four of us. The menu needs serious improvement to match the ambiance.

Both the food and drinks were satisfying; we had two prime ribs, and they were cooked to perfection. I couldn't finish mine, but I attribute that to having indulged in a bag of Stacy's cake cookies beforehand. The Manhattan was served with some ice, which was a bit unexpected, but still quite enjoyable. They were a bit short on staff, as is common these days, but the employees who were present did a wonderful job of checking in on us regularly.

E... read more I had an amazing experience at The Mill! As a longtime local, I finally decided to try it out, and I was genuinely impressed by both the service and the food. Everything was delicious, served promptly and at the ideal temperature. Our server was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to accommodate my dairy allergy, making sure I could enjoy my meal without any worries. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough to anyone looking for fantastic steaks and a great atmosphere—definitely a perfect 10/10!
