Even though I'm not particularly fond of Daiya vegan cheese, both my partner and I thought it was excellent and had a nice crispy topping. The Beyond burger is on the menu, but keep in mind that the bun is not vegan. For appetizers, you can enjoy the fried pickles, French fries, and tater tots, all of which are vegan and delicious! When I repeated that we wanted the bar,... read more From the start, there was some confusion. We asked if we could sit at the bar and were told there was an hour-long wait. When I repeated that we wanted the bar, the hostess seemed puzzled, so we decided to leave. Then she mentioned we could go to the patio bar for drinks, but no food. When we went upstairs, the patio bar had a sign with a menu, instructing us to order food from the bartender. After all that, we settled in, enjoyed some drinks, took in an incredible view of the lake, and had the best cheese curds I've ever tasted (and I've had plenty). Truly outstanding. Maybe they had a new employee or were just busy that day. Either way, I’ll definitely return, if only for the cheese curds.

During my recent trip to McCall, it became my favorite place to beat the summer heat—it was cool, shaded, and ideal for studying or getting some work done. I'll definitely be back!
