Nestled beneath the yacht club in MCCALL, this restaurant has emerged as a hidden culinary gem. Guests can savor their meals while enjoying stunning views of Payette Lake. Though service can vary, many patrons commend the staff’s attentiveness. With an array of excellent options, from lamb to decadent desserts, this spot is ideal for food enthusiasts seeking quality in a relaxed atmosphere, despite some occasional criticisms regarding specific experiences.

We recently visited the Yacht Club, which boasts a fantastic pool and shuffleboard area, as well as a stunning view of the lake. While we didn't dine at Anchor's restaurant upstairs, I've heard that the food there is quite delicious.

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We were looking forward to enjoying some delicious steaks for dinner, but decided against going to the mill due to poor reviews. The only beef option on the menu was the rib, which is our favorite, so both my husband and I ordered it. However, when our plates arrived, the meat was covered in a weak Au Jus sauce and topped with horseradish, which I did not appreciate as I am an animal lover. The potatoes served with the meat were dry and overly salty. Although we had a nice view of the lake from our outdoor table, our dining experience was disrupted by a drunken bride on the balcony of the bar upstairs, who was loudly demanding shots in celebration of her upcoming marriage. Overall, we were not satisfied with the food or the atmosphere and will continue our search for a better restaurant in McCall next time. We did not feel that the quality of the meal justified the high cost.

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. I can't understand why there are negative reviews. The three best meals we had in McCall were from here. The lamb dishes were excellent and the desserts were exquisite. The side dishes were also outstanding. If you're looking for just steak and potatoes, this may not be the place for you. This is a restaurant for serious foodies who appreciate high-quality cuisine.

We went to the Yacht Club which has a great atmosphere pool and shuffleboard and a beautiful view of the lake. Anchors Restaurant is upstairs which we did not eat there but I heard the food is good

This was a letdown. We were wanting some good steaks for dinner, and decided against the Mill because of their negative reviews. The only beef on the menu was prime rib, which we like, so my husband and I both ordered it. When it arrived the entireplate was drowning in weak Au Jus, and they smeared horseradish sauce on top of the meat. I detest horseradish, so I felt likemy beef was pretty much ruined. We 've never seen prime rib presented that way. The mashed potatoes served with the meat (youdon 't get the option of another side) were dry and salty. We sat outside and the view of the lake was lovely, but there was adrunk bride on the balcony of the bar upstairs shouting during the last half of our meal that someone should buy her a shot fortrying the knot . Next time we are in MCall we will continue our search for a restaurant that will really wow us, and not chargea Benjamin for 2 cocktails, gluey potatoes and horseradish-slathered beef.
