A comid... read more Talvez a hora da visita não tenha ajudado, pois almoçar perto das 16 horas é arriscado. Mas apesar de não encantar para uma nota 5, temos de ser justos. A comida é diversificada, combinando frutos do mar e certas delicias mexicanas. A equipe é super atenciosa desde a chegada até saudarem você ao abrir a porta de saída. O ambiente é arejado e combina mesas com ar condicionado e outras com ventilador.

It's location is convenient, it's... read more We've been spending 2-3 Winter weeks in Mazatlan for 10 years, and typically ate at El Fish Market 3-4 times during each stay. It's location is convenient, it's small enough for fast service, and their shrimp, fish and calamari were always fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. They were also one of the few places I found with cold Negro Modelo on tap.We couldn't make it to Mazatlan last year, so really looked forward to this year's trip. And the second day here headed straight for El Fish Market for dinner. Major letdown!Not sure, but it appears to be under new ownership. The absence of the usual crowd should have been a forewarning. There was no greeting at entry. And after seating ourselves, and even though they were not at all busy,it was quite a while before the wait-staff even came to set our table. I ordered the Negro Modelo, along with a spicy calamari burrito, and my wife ordered the Big Kahuna shrimp dinner. These had been our favorites in the past. Absence of a greeting and seating assistance aside, we ordered in great anticipation. We shouldn't have. The Negro Modelo was flat, not a bubble to be found. Though nice in portion, the spicy calamari was tasteless! It had no flavor whatsoever, and was spicy in name only. And the shrimp in the Big Kahuna were edible, but obviously not fresh.After being served, no one on staff was interested enough to even ask if the meal was ok. When requested they simply brought the check, took payment and waited for us to leave. So we did, and won't be back. Too bad. It used to be a nice place to have dinner.
