The Cove African Creole Soul Food

Stopped in here for the first time yesterday with my mom and I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is delicious. My mother and her parents are from New Orleans so I grew up eating southern/Creole food. The gumbo at Bryant's Cove is so far the only restaurant gumbo I have liked as much as my mother's and grandfather's (even after visiting New Orleans). We were so excited that we ended up getting the gumbo, the seafood boil (her original seasoning is toDIE for!! not too spicy but packed with flavor), the fried plantains, and then my mom got jambalaya and carrot cake to go!! The workers are also a joy, and we got to talk to the owner for a while. She is so personable and creative! Therestaurant is clean and comfortable, and I'll be ordering take out from them regularly now. Great little spot to have some flavorful, yummy soul food. Loved it.

Such a delicious experience! A great variety of foods, some familiar and many not, but all so yummy. So glad we found this place and we can?t wait to come back!

My mom has been singing the praises of this restaurant, and even though I haven't visited yet, I have full confidence in her opinion. First, she’s an amazing cook with refined taste in food. Second, she only raves about meals that are truly exceptional. Lastly, there's a good chance she won’t take the time to write a review online herself, so I’m doing it for her. She was really impressed by the flavors, the variety of cuisines, the service, and the owners! I live in New York, but I hope to experience it for myself someday.

Shoooooo! This place is amazing! I absolutely loved the fried plantains, and the Jamaican Goat Curry is out of this world! You definitely won’t be disappointed!

The restaurant provided one of the best experiences of my life. The food was incredible, the place was spotless, and the service was friendly. Normally, I’m not a fan of sausage, but the gumbo was simply outstanding. If I had to rate the restaurant on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 12. It’s truly an amazing establishment, and I can't wait to return!
