Full disclosure, I was here only twice in very different scenarios. First was in the heat of COVID when my mother died and we stayed during the funeral and the second was here in June 2022 at the end? of COVID two years later to visit with the family without obligations. What User doesn't like about O'rourke's Pub:
We went in as a family and said that minors were not even allowed. Not as if we were going to sit in the bar as it was kind of rude what was a shame. Smelled big and looking forward to her wings! View all feedback.
Great local pub as long as you don't smoke. It's getting fat on weekends. Good beer and friendly service a great time.
What a great spot. We stayed at the French Quarter Inn so the pub was within direct line of sight and came recommended by multiple staff there. We came in on Saturday and Sunday night and both times it was filled enough to be fun but not too crowded. There's indoor and outdoor seating. All the staff were welcoming and attentive. The drinks are very fairly priced and includes a full bar and craft beer. They also have a kitchen serving excellent pizza and bar food till 10pm. We had thin crust pizza and really enjoyed it. We all loved having something so relaxed and friendly so close by and went over both nights of our stay. If in the area again I'm sure we'll come back. Thanks guys!
Drinks are very reasonably priced and good, friendly bartenders, drinks are made quickly, good atmosphere and my girlfriend and like playing darts, just wish they had better bar food or at least a better selection of options.
Great service, friendly staff and customers. Will stop again next time in Maysville!
Nice local pub! Very friendly! I am a first timer and really enjoyed sitting outside, not a smoker, so it was nice not to have to smell the second hand smoke.
