I consider it casual dining, as they offer appetizers, sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps, wings, and sides, all of which are consistently delicious! The staff is friendly, and the food is served quickly—unless you're there during a busy time. This is a small, family-owned restaurant that's quite popular, so you might have to wait a few minutes occasionally, but they work hard to accommodate everyone. The décor is charming with a beach theme, making it a great place to eat. It’s definitely a wonderful addition to Mayodan!

We arrived around 2:30 on a Friday afternoon and were able to take in the lovely surroundings while the food was served promptly. Just a week later, I found myself craving that South of the Border Burger!

So let me tell you about the best pr... read more We hit Beach House Grill again today. As soon as we walked in, they recognized us. Nothing better than feeling like family. So let me tell you about the best pretzels and beer cheese I’ve ever had. They are FRIED. So crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with the perfect amount of chewiness. You get 4 and we took 2 home. I got the Cheeseburger Club and planned to take out the center piece of Texas Toast. Shannon did it for me which was great because I didn’t lose any mayo or juiciness that way. I ate every bite. Plus the house made fried squash for only 50 cents more was phenomenal! It didn’t even need the ranch dressing but I still ate it because, why not? Hubs got the South of the Border Burger with tots. Both items were great! I thought the beachy golf cart would’ve been the owners. Nope. You can actually drive golf carts on the street, so it was a customer’s! Hint Hint Shannon and Ashleigh: those pretzels could be sprinkled with cinnamon-sugar for an excellent dessert!!! @beachhousegrillenc
