To check on my order, I went to the drive-thru window. To my surprise, they informed me that my curbside order was ready and handed it to me. They explained that they were short-staffed—only two people working behind the counter—and apologized for the wait, which honestly was faster than I expected given the circumstances. I had ordered a Diet Ginger Ale, which isn't a typical request. Just recently, another fast food place made me wait 21 minutes with only two cars ahead of me, while these two employees managed to handle a dozen orders in just 8 minutes. Yes, it was busy, and as my parents always say, a line out the door indicates lost sales, but these two employees were doing an incredible job given the volume of customers. I do wish they had more help, but in today’s economy, that’s not always realistic. I also want to mention how great their Bourbon sauce is!
