Azucar Tapas Bar - Maynard
Azucar Tapas Bar
Description
Overall, this restaurant received mixed reviews. While some enjoyed the ambiance and excellent service, others were disappointed with the slow service and food quality. Some diners had unpleasant experiences due to raw burgers or ignored requests. On the other hand, the tapas selection was praised by many, as well as the cocktails and live music. Despite some flaws, the establishment seems to have potential for a great dining experience but might need to work on consistency.

We liked the atmosphere. Margarita martini was good. Service was friendly and professional but food was slow to come out and we were abandoned for too long after the meal. Food was disappointing: calamari and empanadas were ok but obviously frozen and notmade on site, steak was poor quality and inedibly chewy, sausage was a bit dry and mealy.
Had the following: Pan con tomate Chorizo a la plancha Calamares andaluza Papas bravas Hongos al ajillo Churros Chocolate cake Favorites were the papas bravas (potatoes), hongos (mushrooms), and chorizo. Churros were solid. Plenty of street parkingavailable and while I made reservations, there were definitely spots available for walk ins.
