Portions are decent, ice is great and the ppl work there seem really happy. You have a beautiful picnic area back to enjoy a bowl and many parking spaces. I was there at least once a year for most of my 50 years and I intend to make a pilgrimage for 50 more! Bring a cash tip as their stupid Apple tablets do not allow you to tap electronically

Really good ice, friendly staff and a beautiful forested environment in the back with some tables and parasols to sit and relax. It can really do a lot at peak hours, but the lines are moving pretty fast. This place is a landmark in Maynard with a cool story and definitely worth a trip.
